Tonight’s Free Tasting 5:30-7:30, Bordeaux and South Africa

Stop by the shop tonight for another great free wine tasting!  Tonight we’ll be tasting two wines, a Michael Lynch Merlot and a Graham Beck Chardonnay.

Michael Lynch Merlot:

574

With a bold garnet red colour and a very fruity nose; Michel Lynch Red is very full-flavoured, chewy with plenty of volume, and round with firm ripe tannins.  Michel Lynch is made from the best terroirs in Bordeaux is the flagship of our range. It combines the richness of wines from the left bank of the Garonne  with the roundness of right bank wines to produce a wonderfully balanced expression of the best that the beautiful Bordeaux region can produce.

Graham Beck Chardonnay/Viognier:

575

Two utterly delightful varieties come together seamlessly in a blend which is both creamy and refreshing. The fruit for this luscious blend of around 80% Chardonnay and 20% Viognier  A small percentage of both the Chardonnay and Viognier portions were fermented in staved stainless steel tanks to generate an added dimension of richness.  The wine has a full rich nose of peaches and apricots supported by fresh limes and floral notes, while the creamy entry explodes with tropical fruit leading to a long crisp elegant finish. Ideal as an aperitif or with smoked salmon, great with shellfish or enjoy al fresco.

As always, our tasting wines are 15% off Friday and Saturday only!
